Producing clean hydrogen from waste

CSS has demonstrated a new method to produce high-purity hydrogen gas from waste.
Our process uses gasification to convert waste into syngas, from which we extract hydrogen using a custom-designed Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) system.
This innovative approach achieves 99.999% purity hydrogen gas while operating at pressures as low as 1.5 bar above atmospheric. By developing our own PSA system, we’ve eliminated reliance on expensive third-party suppliers.
The environmental impact of our technology is significant. It diverts waste from landfills and incinerators, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, and produces clean hydrogen fuel for various applications.
A single MicroHub from Compact Syngas Solutions can produce 720kg of hydrogen a day — enough to fuel a fleet of HGVs.
